We had a great 4th of July. Abby and I started the day by visiting with grammie and ended the day playing out in the front yard while daddy watered the grass and flowers. Abby enjoyed playing with her make believe "sparklers" and learned how to drink from the hose. We watched the kids across the street set off their fireworks as a grand finale to our day.

Best Buddies

Here are two little cutie pies. This is Abby's new friend and playmate Ainsleigh. Abby and Ainsleigh have become quite the pair. They have a lot of fun together.

Little swimmer

Abigail had her first "big" pool experience in June. She had never been in that much water before. Albert and Abby had fun swimming together. Abby seemed to enjoy herself, she laughed and splashed.

Aquarium Visit

Abby enjoyed her visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in May. She liked touching all the sea creatures in the ponds. Outside she climbed on the turtles and sat on a seal. It was a fun time.

Yummy Strawberries!!

Abby is eating strawberries all by herself. She had her first strawberry on May 5th at her aunties bridal shower and now can't seem to get enough. The minute she spotted it on the plate she was begging for it. She likes them a lot! Good thing because so does her mommy.

Mother's Day 2007

Abby picked this rose for me in our front yard. She enjoys smelling the flowers whenever we are outside and did not really want to give this one up. It was a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Tasty treat

Here is Abby eating her first push-up ice cream all by herslef. She actually got most of it in her mouth. :-)

Abby's 1st birthday party

Abby enjoyed eating her cake, although it took her quite a while to get into it. She felt it, poked it, kinda tasted it and then realizing it was safe finally took a bite. It was very cute. She is also featured in her party hat and birthday crown which she can wear each year on her birthday.

My new wagon

Here is Abby in her new birthday wagon. She likes it, especially going fast as you can see by her pony tails waving in the wind. It's big and fun, and she likes the box it came in too.

Abby in high style

Here is Abby in her new dress hand-made by her grammie. She wore it for her dedictation in church, for her birthday pictures and she will wear it for her first birthday bash this Saturday, April 7th. She'll be the best dressed at the party for sure!!

Beach Time Fun

Abby's first time playing in the sand at the beach was a lot of fun. She tried eating the sand a couple of times, but that did not go over well. She also thought the starfish might be tasty but we intercepted that one before it could happen. The day was overcast but warm on the coast in Brookings, Oregon.

Backyard fun

Having fun in the sun!! Abby's checking out her backyard and watching daddy do some yard work. she enjoys the outdoors very much!
